Nick Prior
I specialise in photographing buildings and cityscapes, old, new and the spaces in between, with pictures capable of reproduction up to 2 metres across, suitable for the large public of spaces. But I also produce pictures that work in more intimate surroundings, domestic as well as public and commercial. All the images you see on this website are available for purchase. I’m also open to discussions about commissioning work.
Wide format landscapes
A photograph of a February afternoon taken after the rain had stopped, the lowering skies were clearing and the sun came out for a brief but spectacular sunset. It’s not just about the power station! This panorama also takes in the view from the Pennine Hills high above Manchester.
On the left Daresbury, Runcorn Bridge and Fiddlers Ferry Power Station on the Mersey, with the Clwyd Hills behind. Further right across the Mersey basin you can make out Liverpool, and in the far distance 80 miles away, the peaks of Snowdonia. Full size, the optimistic eye can make out Tryfan and the Carneddau.
All my panoramas are available in sizes up to 2 metres wide by 60cm high (about 6 feet by 2 feet). They are printed using the latest laser technology onto Gloss or Matt archival photographic paper, or optionally onto specialist photographic materials such as Fujiflex, Metallic prints & Duratrans. You can choose from a wide variety of mounting and framing options designed to enhance both the image and the space you hang it in.
